LeTourneau University

Ok, first, you are probably thinking: “What is 41?”

41 is the dorm I lived in at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX.

Next, you are probably wondering: “What's with the funky borg thingy and Batman?”

Well, that's kind of a funny story. You see, when my roomie and I showed up on campus, we were immediately inseparable.
He and I are very much alike in personality (those of you who know me may be cringing at that thought).
I was wearing a beltpack and a jacket (as always).
During one of our first nights in the dorm, somebody stuck a small “sign” on our door that said “BatCave.”
Being the geeks we are, we could not ignore such a challenge.
We immediately set to work to create a bigger, better, cooler logo and posted it on our door.
By the time of the official nickname-giving ceremony at the end of the week, we were already known as Batman and Robin.
The names stuck.

The logo here is the latest incarnation of our room logo.
The logo was redone several times due to the urge to make it better and losses of earlier versions due to hard disk problems and such (backup, what backup?).
